The Maldives is one of the fastest growing island destinations as more and more visitors return home to spread the word about the allure and seduction of this wonderful tropical paradise. The Maldives, located off the south-west coast of India, consists of almost 1200 islands of which 185 are inhabited. Those catering to the world of vacations are reached from the city of Male on the main island and point of international arrival, either by seaplane or speedboat depending on the distance. Every resort in the Maldives is its own private island with over 100 to choose from.

Deposit/Payments: A minimum deposit of $500 per person is required at booking to confirm your reservation. To keep your account current a minimum payment of $300 is due on by the 15th of each month with the final balance due 60 days before departure.

TRAVEL GUIDELINES & POLICIES
All travel experiences are priced per person, based on shared occupancy. Single rooms may be available at an additional cost and the prices will be listed where applicable. Prior to booking, prices are subject to change without notice. If you are using our payment plan option, you must submit a non-refundable, non-transferable, per person deposit at the time of booking to reserve your space.
Payment of the required deposit indicates that you have read and accepted thee Terms and Conditions. Once your deposit has been received and processed by BGTM, you will receive confirmation of your booking (subject to availability) by email. After booking, BGTM may send you an additional email with the payment terms and details of the trip. Each traveler is responsible for verifying the information and notifying BGTM of any discrepancies or errors. If there is an error in the billing, BGTM will send a revised invoice to reflect the correct pricing. Final payment for your trip is due 60 days prior to commencement of the trip, with some limited exceptions. BGTM may cancel your booking if final payment is not received by the due date.
Flight schedule including departure city will be published nine months prior to departure.
Trip Cancellations; Refunds
A full refund will be issued if your cancellation request is received by BGTM within 72 hours after booking. The refund will be reimbursed to you within 5-7 business days. A partial refund, in an amount determined by BGTM, in its sole discretion, may be issued for cancellation requests received after 72 hours and prior to 90 days before commencement of the trip. No refunds will be issued for request received less than 90 days before commencement of the trip. BGTM may cancel or reschedule a trip for any reason. In the event a trip is canceled, BGTM will refund the amount received from you. BGTM may, but will have no obligation to, reschedule the trip. BGTM will not be responsible for any additional costs or any fees incurred by you due to the cancellation or rescheduling of a trip. The cost of airline tickets or other travel arrangements, not made by BGTM shall be the sole responsibility of the traveler.
Gratuities are NOT included for services during certain portions of the trip. This includes gratuities for wait staff, included meals and hospitality staff at accommodations for nights purchased through BGTM. Gratuities for your tour director, local hosts, local guides and driver are not included in the trip price (unless otherwise noted in pricing details) and are discretionary.
Visas & Passports
International travel requires a valid passport that does not expire within six (6) months of your departure from the U.S. You must verify all requirements and obtain a passport and all necessary visas for the trip, including all health requirements if any. If you are refused entry into any country for failing to meet the entry and exit requirements, BGTM will not be liable. All visa or passport information provided by BGTM is applicable to U.S. citizens only. Non-U.S. citizens must consult with the appropriate consulates to determine if any visas or other documents are needed. For more information on passport and visa requirements, please go to the U.S. State Department website at www.travel.state.gov.
BGTM utilizes a variety of tour operators/suppliers and airline carriers for air transportation, accommodations, transfers and excursion. Shared room accommodations, with two beds. Single room accommodations may be available at an additional charge and must be requested at the time of booking. Room and bed preferences are not guaranteed. Check-in times vary worldwide. BGTM cannot control or guarantee check-in times.
Health; Safety; Medical Insurance
BGTM endeavors to provide a safe environment and experience for its travelers but cannot protect or guard traveler from certain risk and dangers when traveling outside of the United States. During a trip travelers may be faced with forces of nature; political unrest; acts of lawlessness or terrorism; accidents or illnesses or other situations that may endanger the life of the traveler. BGTM shall not be responsible for any risks and dangers that may arise and by booking a trip with BGTM, you agree not to hold BGTM liable for any harm suffered by you during the trip. You agree to hold BGTM harmless regarding any provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care rendered. You must ensure that you are informed and aware of the applicable health requirements and recommended precautions relevant to the trip and that you carry all necessary vaccination documents, personal health information or personal medication. You run the risk of being denied entry into a country if you fail to present the required vaccination documentation. Prior to booking a trip, you should refer to U.S. Department of State’s website www.travel.state.gov for travel advice and vaccination requirements for the trip destination.
